The camera captured District 3810 Governor Concepcion “Connie” Beltran distributing relief goods to typhoon “Ondoy” and flood victims. It was a natural and spontaneous response on her part, in cooperation and coordination with the Rotarians and Partners in Service of the District, to help alleviate the sufferings of the typhoon victims. “NOTHING IS TOO SMALL TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.” DG Connie’s brand of leadership ignites the fire of enthusiasm of her Visionary Presidents to make an obvious difference in the lives of those who need help most. Guided by Rotary International’s thrusts on WATER, HEALTH, HUNGER and LITERACY, the Visionary Presidents are one with her in putting substance and meaning to the RY 2009-2010 theme: “The Future of Rotary Is in Your Hands”.
